almost all retail stores and restaurants take 16-year-olds, but only very specific places take 15-year-olds.  If you're a good swimmer, many swim clubs hire 15-year-old lifeguards, all you have to do is take a class.

You could most likely get a job at a grocery store.  Go ahead and make a phone call to 3 or 4 and make an appointment to talk to the manager at one of them.  It would be helpful if you'd be receptive to be a stocker in the beginning.

grocery stores definitely hire young teens.  Also, shops in the mall, mcdonalds, burger king...any fast food chain will hire you.
