What stores sell VGA Converters?

and what is the device needed to enable me to connect an xbox to a pair of computer speakers?

well, i'm sure any major computer retailer (i.e. staples fry's radio shack, curcuit city, best buy, or maybe even target) would carry a video adapter for your computer.

As for the xbox situation, you will need one of these:

(ignore the fact that the website says the RCA coupler is for record players, it doesn't matter)

assuming this is an xbox 360, you will take the analog xbox wires and plug the RCA coupler on the end of the wires, then plug the RCA adapter cable into the other end of the RCA coupler, then plaug the mini jack coupler on the other end of the adapter cable. Once this is completed, plug the input on your speaker wires to the other end of the mini jack coupler, this all should work and fit snug.

If your using just an xbox then the same applies, unless you have the xbox advanced AV pack, if you do, then continue reading.

If you do have the advanced AV pack, the just take the adapter cable, and plug the RCA end of it into the analog audio outputs of the Advanced AV pack, then plug the mini jack coupler into the mini jack end of the adapter cable, the njust plug your computer speakers into the other end of the mini jack coupler. This should work as well, you wikk not need the RCA coupler if you have the xbox Advanced AV pack.
