Coloriss I think is how you spell it, I straighten my hair like a maximum of once per month simply because I do not wish to damage my hair and I love my hair curly.

I use Maxius... I straighten my hair twice a month (keeping it straighted for 5-7 days). The other half I have my  hair natural, giving it a break.

I also use SHINE products...

GHDs, I only straighten my hair after I've washed and dried it because it goes really frizzy, then the next day (I can't wash my hair every day, it's waist length!)  I can just get out of my bed, brush my hair and it will be smooth, shiny and frizz free but have a nice wave/curl to it.

i use a chi, it was a gift from a friend and i cannot live without it, my hair is very dry and not shiny at all, but when i use it it comes out like silk, and i try not to straighten it too much because it dry out even more with the heat, so straighten it after u wash ur hair, and then if u want to touch up, do it again but very minimally
