  1. My dear "Flowers"....

Well...what always worked for me when I am in a "conflict" situation is...I am especially friendly, always courteous, let the other person speak first, then I make my point...If this "strategy" doesn't "work", I still be polite....and state my "case" by saying:"With all due respect, but I view the case ..."such & such"...and THAT always seems to work out just fine. Try it, honey!!!

Wish you all the best for the future ! Greetings from Germany with all my love & care.... Annette***

  2. I usually try to enlist the help of the other person to find a resolution.  Remain polite, explain that there is an issue which you need to resolve with their help.  (Most people like being asked to help)  Make the issue clear from your point of view, admit that there may be another viewpoint if they can help you  to understand it.  Then between the two of you find a way to compromise.

  3. It depends on the problem, usually problem solving strategies, like trying to talk about the situation, finding the best solution for all involved....

  4. Like everyone else has pointed out,  remaining polite is a good strategy.  Even if that may not solve your problems,  be sure it will not aggravate them also.

Losing your temper is the worst that one can do in a conflict.  If you are calm and collected you will have your wits around and present your viewpoint more rationally.
