  1. Both combinations can be equally good, it all depends on your play style and the deck you build. Green/Red has some huge potential to put out some incredibly mean creatures with a very high power and toughness in fairly short order.

Green/White has the potential to put out a horde of smaller creatures and gain life very quickly to the point where it is difficult for your opponent to keep up.

  2. hmmm... Shadowmoor and Tenth Ed? Well, Tenth Ed. cards dont really have that much good green creatures compared to Shadowmoor. In Shadowmoor, you've got access to 'Kithcen Finks', 'Rhys the Redeemed', 'Wilf Leaf Cavaliers', Oversoul of Dusk', and much more. Not just creatures, but sorceries, instants and lands as well. Shadowmoor has some really powerful green and red creatures. I think it would be better for you if you chose Green/Red if you're using Tenth Ed. and Shadowmoor. you'll have access to 'Incinerate', 'Fulminator Mage', etc. Plus all the green creatures Tenth Ed. and Shadowmoor has to offer. You could lots of cool combos and strategies at magic, so its really up to you. Good Luck!
