  1. ok, my friend is a dancer and she  just goes down into split position five times a day and she's been doing it for a little over a month and now she's 1 inch away from the full splits...

    HOPE THIS HELPS! :D

  2. It might be possible in 2 months, depending on how naturally flexible you are. I am a figure skater and took a little ballet, so we did a lot of work on splits. I don't suppose you have a barre at home? A few hardcore dancers will. Anyway, the simplest way to do this is to just warm up basically like you always would. Stretch your hamstrings, do some basic ballet exercises like plie. Then slowly lower yourself down as far as you can comfortable go into a center split position. Hold for at least 10 counts. Do this every day once or twice a day and your flexibility will increase, I promise. You can also stand holding on to a chair or something, with your hips square, and kick your leg backwards like you would to stretch out for arabesques. Arabesques are really just center splits standing up, in a way. So kick your leg straight backwards for some reps.

For side splits, sit on the floor and spread your legs as far as is comfortable, then bend forward towards each of your toes, holding the position for at least ten counts.

Just be sure to not push yourself or you could get injured, and if you stick to this routine it will help.
