What student visa do I need to go from Ireland to Australia?

I am hoping to go over to australia next summer and I know I need a visa much like the J1 to america.I was just wondering if there is a J1 equivalent for australia?

if you intend to go on a student visa to study you have to first be accepted by a uni,school etc then you can apply for a student visa.You must pay all your tuition fees up front and prove you can support yourself
