  1. Everything everyone else said, but don't forget about shelves and lamps!  Stuff won't do you any good if you can't see it and can't find it because it's all jumbled together.  Curtains help decorate and keep creepy people at bay at night.

Rugs, let us not forget rugs!  And a coffeepot.  And tupperware!

  2. Kitchen:

    Cooking utensils

    pots and pans

    dish soap and dish drainer

    sponges

cleaners (I use vinegar and baking soda)

    dish towels

    tupperware-type containers

    Bathroom:

    toilet cleaner

    mop, broom, and bucket

    towels

extra toilet paper-you can never have too much

    hand soap

    kleenex

    toiletries

  3. All the stuff the other two have said, plus pillows, sheets and blankets.  Bedside rugs would be nice too.

  4. Think about splitting the bills ,groceries, having friends over butting in boyfriends, family that won't go away. Br-owing things from each-other ,remembering who owns what(personal furniture). Have a backup plan when someone decides to back out or is out of work.I know these are some things you don't want to think about. It is the truth.I 've learned from all these things I am telling you.

(shopping at Ikea is the Best you will find all your needs and wants there)Promise

  5. what do you have in your house now?

im thinking you'll need the same stuff in the house your moving into (but probobly less lol)

i sugest going to an ikea or crate and barrel

  6. You know what would help? Going through someone's home. I.E. your parents' home. Go through and take a note of [everyday] things you use (dresser, phone, bed, toilet plunger, cleaning supplies, toilet brush/cleaner, toothbrush holder, toilet paper, entertainment center, bookcase, desk, etc.). I'd get the things you NEED first, and after you move into your place, get the things you WANT. I'm too tired to explain why, but it just works out better that way.

  7. you will need trash cans for kitchen and bathroom-cleaning supplies-toilet paper-paper towels-can opener
