What style of cardigan would suit someone with big hips?

Question

I'm old skool curvy - in the sense that my hips are wide and my bust is big rather than fat. But I'm also tall and quite long in the body.

What style of cardigan would suit my body shape?

I really like the long line ones that seem to be about at the moment but I'm worried that they'll accentuate my hips?

Can you suggest some that might look good?

I have the longer ones, mine is from AmericanApparel.com.  It fits me well and I have the same body type as you from what you tell me, except, I'm petite.

You can get a long line one, just leave the bottom button, or the bottom two buttons undone, so it isn't so tight around the hips. You could also try a cropped cardie, that ends at the hips, with a slightly flared bottom (that explanation isnt the best, but it will mask your hips as the detail hides it)
