  1. You don't want to mix and match subs or enclosures.  The two subs will be fighting each other on a level you won't be able to hear or understand.  Just keep them as identical as you can.  There are a huge list of subs you could get.  Off the top of my head a good sub that's not too expensive are the Dayton subs.  You'll want to stick with a ported box, but not tuned too low.  Since neither of those styles of music you listed really go that low anyway.  Tune the box to maybe 35hz or so.  Use a subsonic filter too.  You'll want plenty of power.  Make sure you're looking at rms rattings not peak.  get at least as much power as your subs can handle at the subs combined impedance.  Get adequate wiring.  Your amplifier's user guide should tell you what guage wire to run.  DON'T get a cap.  If you get anything, get a high output alternator.  A capacitor will not help a fraction as much as an alternator will.  In fact, a capacitor could actually do more harm then good if your alternator sucks that bad.  Upgrade the alt before anything else.

  2. if your looking or bang you got to go with kicker.

the cheapest set they have will be 2 kicker comps in a ported box you dont need a cap for these and the amp is even cheaper so its about a 170 dollar package it has a good beat for the price.

but if you want a premium beat for a okay price you got to get the cvr's

and this is the set you should get.

subs-2 cvr kicker 12''s 800watts each 1600 max (silver with red middle symbol)

amp- crunch p1400x2, sends 700watts of raw power to each sub. nice black design with illuminated crunch symbol in middle. i used his sub several times and always delivered.

a capacitor is needed for these. a 1.4 farad or 1.5 farad. and a wiring kit

  3. first off, u cant do ur subs like that....put them in a ported enclosure and youll get ur loud bass....go with pioneer premier TS-W1201D2 or 4 s and u will be happy...those subs pound  and r only 65 dollars a piece....shop at onlinecarastereo.com and u will find great deals and free shipping.....if u r only going with two of these subs, no u dont need a cap, and as for a amp  go for a amp that has 800 rms coming out of it and match the ohms up right with ur subs..and u will be more than happy...just make sure to get someone to make or get a enclosure from online to make sure its done right..if u go with those 2 pioneer subs, u wil need a ported enclosure of 3.30 cubic feet ..thats for the 2...make sure the enclosure matches those specs for the 2 and ill guarantee u that u will be happy...u need a 4 guage wiring kit

  4. the subs,onlinecarstereo.com,2 of em costs 95 bucks,they are great sounding i have 2 of em,2 12"soundstorm stealth subs,get 2 build it yourself enclosure kits from wal-mart(sealed),the amp,get a 1200 watt soundstorm amp,2 channel,the wiring kit u can get from walmart,u dont need a cap

    either that or kicker comps.
