What suberb in Sydney is good to live that with reasonable rate for Accomodation?

  1. It all depends on what you are after, Joe.

    I recommend living near the city (within a 20 minute bus ride) as this will give you access to all Sydney has to offer without making it too much hassle.

    Most of the culture/action is on the south side of Sydney harbour in the suburbs classed as Inner West and Eastern Suburbs.

    You can find reasonably priced share accommodation in these areas and will find yourself with alot of interesting things to do that don't cost alot.

    These areas are full of great pubs with live music and restaurants to suit any budget.

    There is access to Sydney's best parks, beaches and of course Sydney harbour close at hand.

    These are my favourite areas and I have lived in them all for many years. The East is also "safe".

    There are some great share accommodation websites around, just use a search engine.

    Here is a bit of a list to get you started: Balmain, Bondi, Bondi Junction, Surry Hills, Newtown, Annandale, Glebe, Woolloomooloo...
