I would say the only things left are incest and beastiality.  Depending on where you live interacial dating is still frowned upon.  NOT THAT I DO - I'M JUST SAYING!

And older men/younger women is more taboo than it's ever been.

Just look at how differently people react, and the law reacts, to teachers having s*x with students.

If the teacher is male, he goes to prison for a minimum of 10 years, sometimes as long as 20.

If it's a woman, she almost never sees ANY jail time, and if she does, it's a slap on the hand.

And everyone says "oh, what a lucky student to have had s*x with a hot teacher", but nobody says that about a girl with a man, do they?

And by the way, I can tell you from personal experience, a LOT of teenage girls try to seduce older men.

Yet it's still assumed that "he took advantage of her" which is silly.

There are quite a few sexual issues that are taboo in modern civilization.  Incest and s*x with underage individuals would top this list.  It's easy for us to look at these issues and think, "Well of course they are taboo...it's disgusting!".  However, in ages past, these were accepted practices in many societies.

Race, s*x, sickness, war, religion, politics....... Basically, everything that can be remotely funny. People suck.

EDIT: everyone seems to think we're more open to things today. We like to think we're ok with race, but when Don Imus says nappy headed hoes, or a comedian says n-gger, we flip out. When someone makes a joke about cancer, we look down on him. Same with jokes about religion. And it's taboo to be intelligent; why talk about politics, when you can talk about the Yankees? Also, I guaranteed I'm going to be reported for saying n-gger. That'll just show how hypersensitive we are today.

In my household nothing is Taboo. We openly talk about peer pressure, s*x, drugs, boys, girls, goverment, religion whatever.

I don't know whether it is about being taboo or not, but there are some things I won't discuss with people because they get all bent out of shape and try to convince me that my opinion is wrong and theirs is right.

I don't like discussing politics or religion.

Honestly, I don't think there are any subjects that are taboo. Look at the movies that our young kids watch. Yesterday's "R" rating  is now "PG-13"! We openly talk about sexual preferences, mixed marriages, rape, murder, incest. Poor George Carlin. His list of " 7 things you can't say on TV" is down to about 1 or 2.
