What subjects do I have to take in order to be an "O.T."?

What would I have to take in High School and College in order to become an "O.T." I was also thinking about going to Boston U.

  1. Focus on Science and related classes, that relate to the human body and how it works, such as Biology. Also because this field has a lot of human interaction, I suggest speech classes.

    There's the exact information of what the school you are looking at offers. There are great opportunities if you get a Master's degree, and many schools offer "linked" programs where you "automatically" go into a Master's program.

    My best friend is finishing off her Masters in O.T. and she didn't take many "special" courses in high school. Any college wants a well rounded person, although you may want to make sure you go beyond your school's science requirements. Also I know what helped her was getting a part time job or work "co-op" working in a hospital in high school. Good luck!
