I'm 15 going into grade 10.

I plan on being a Music Therapist when I get out of school, but I don't know what subjects to take in high school as sort of a pre-requisite for psychology in university. I want to go to Sir Wilfred Laurier in Waterloo.

  1. I am not sure about the specifics of your chosen college but here are some suggestions:  AP or college level Calculus - you will need to know math, AP or college level English - you might be able to skip this requirement in college by taking this, AP or college level history courses - once again, this might save you time and money later, AP or college level biology - for the same reasons as above.  I am also assuming that you are currently a musician - so as much music as your school provides.  In addition, you might want to put in some volunteer hours at a hospital, physical rehab or nursing home.  That would give you insight into what you want to do and would look good on a college application.
