Question:

What subs would be my best bet?x?

Ok, i have a pyle blue wave 2000 watt class d amp. and a 1996 s10, standard cab, =( what i need to know, is what size subs should i get, i think shallow subs would be better, but should i get like one 2000 watt or 2 1000? just some suggestions would be quite delightful

  1. listen to Robert, with that amp you would be lucky to get a third of the advertised RMS wattage so if you put a sub on that amp that needed 2000 watts you would damage the sub from distortion caused by the amplifier clipping which occurs because it does not have the necessary RMS wattage

    when it comes to car audio all you care about is the RMS (continuous) wattage, not the peak.max wattage because that means nothing at all


  2. because you have a small truck get the new thin Rockford p3 and don't worry about getting a sub to match the power of your amp that amp is not pushing 2000 watts it might be pushing 500 at the most
