What subwoofers are better? Kicker or Memphis?

Question

In general, which subwoofer maker is better of those two, primarly in sound quality.

also, which would be the better sub to get

Size of the sub is not important to me in this case, just SQ, so which one of those two will have the better sound quality?

KICKER hands down. The Kicker is larger and higher quality then that memphis. I just installed that same Kicker box in my nieces Xterra it sounds great. I got it from ebay for $150 delivered to my door.

Kicker dude!!! you can never go wrong woth kicker. that CVR is really good. i have four of them in my car. until now nobody beats my sound system.

kicker is known for the hardest hitting thing out there, and I believe they are, but for sound quality I'd definately go for the memphis, but you should go for duals, it's not much more expensive to run two subs off one amp and it'll do you much better.

Between the two I would choose Kicker! But my choice has always been Boston Acoustics.
