Let's see, as a female I think these characters would do nicely:

Catwoman, Black Cat, Emma Frost (XD), Wonder Woman, Elektra, Batgirl, Black Canary, Starfire, Raven, Huntress, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, etc.

I say go as a villain; you'll probably get more attention that way.
