If you had a chance to pack up all the supplies you'd need for disaster preparedeness, what would you store, and how much would you store? And how would you acquire these things if you had to do it on your actual budget instead of an ideal budget?

  1. A lot of chocolate, cheese, tins of baked beans, tins of veg, tinned potatoes, long life milk, water. A tin opener would also be essential. Buy a lot of a few staple items is best in my opinion.

It is also amazing how people don't realise that clean drinking water is the most essential thing!

  2. Canned goods, bottled water, soap, toothpaste,  reading materials, pens and pencils, etc
