What surfboard should i buy?

I'm 5'3", 125 lbs. beginner-intermediate. I ride a 7'3" fun board and I do fine on that, but i wanna get a shortboard. I live in socal.

if you looking at going dramatically shorter go for a fish shape, they offer more floatation but keeping the losseness (?) of a shortboard, you can also catch waves easier and paddle better because of it!

twin fins will be looser, recommendation- try a 5 fin that way you can play around with the setup too!
