  1. it depends on you size/weight, but generally 6'6-6'7 is pushing it

  2. well i can bottom turn and cutback on shortboards and mals from about 5'6 to about 9 foot so it really depends of how much surfing you are doing,  your height and weight

  3. Id go with 6 3' that is what i use and it works great.  Cutbacks are the easiest with that size.  Best answer please.

  4. Depends on what size of a person you are.

If you are 5 feet to 6 feet tall and under 200 pounds, then i would say that a good board size is 6'0" to 6'3".

If you go with a 6' or 6'1," then you might need to get a little wider board....around 19"

Try to get a squash tail, thruster, and a medium rocker.

  5. depends on your size and weight, if your small go 5'10" , big then go 6'6", look at sizing guides on the internet for shortboarding, you can't execute turns on a longboard etc. the shortboard should be around 3" bigger than the surfer.

  6. normally the shorter the board the better, but if you're a heavier or taller person then a longer or thicker board would be better. I'm 5'8 and 115 pounds and ride a 5'11 T. patterson which i am madly in love with haha. but idk borrow friends boards and test what feels right. just make sure its under 7'.
