What surround sound audio system should i get cheap for a hdtv and a ps3?

Creative has some neat stuff too if you wanna cheap but serious sound...either that or go to Best Buy and listen to their surround sound systems.  They have some cheap Sony systems, Panasonic...a few others too.

My son has a Duraband 6 speaker system in his bedroom.  I only cost around $40 at Walmart and it shakes the walls when he plays Halo 3.

Well, a surround sound that stands from the ground (like tower speakers) will be atleast 300 or 400 bucks. If the speakers have to be raised from the ground then you could buy some speaker stands (about 30 or 40 bucks for a pair) or maybe the speakers can me mounted on the wall with screws. But you will need to spend at least 200 dollars to get a halfway decent system.

I have the pioneer with tower speakers and dvd player included for 500 bucks (walmart). You can mount the rear speakers on the wall.

The one without tower speakers and dvd player is about 200-250.

logitech will usualy be the best way to go for things like that it has the highest compatability rates and a pretty nice price
