  1. I would think something like 43 to 98 ft but of course this is not taking into account various factors such as the sword being magical or it having been made by goblins. Otherwise get a 2mm one to get started. ;-)

  2. Hmmmm... i think you need to talk to your ninja parents about that unless you're gonna be a ninja assassin

  3. if I ws only 5'1", I'd want a sword about 10 feet long. But seriously, I guess as long as I could get without it draging on the ground when I walked. That would look very uncool

  4. im sorry, i dont want to sound like an idiot here but this is a hilarious question!

why do yuo want a sword?

its just so funny to picture someone whos 5'1 witha  sword!!

  5. lol i agree.  The thought of some 5'1" person running around with a sword is halarious.   The main factors are how old you are, are you looking for a sword called "sting"...just kidding, and what are you getting this sword for?  Practice, demonstration, competition, or combat?   The length of your sword (pommel to tip) is quite insignificant compared to those factors.  In most cases the longer the blade the heavier the sword.  Therefore get a sword based on how long you think you'll be able to hold it up.  I'm 5'11" and the longest sword I have is 68" and it weighs 8 Lbs.  I can only swing it around for 3-5 minutes but I wouldn't suggest getting a sword that long cause theres no way you could unsheath it hah.  Anyways to answer your question...

Therefore you should get a 27.5" straight sword or a 25.5" broadsword (just size of blade not pommel to tip).  That is if your following the International Wushu Federation regulations and all...

  6. A good sword length for you would be 27.5 inches if you're using a Straight sword.  And if you are using a broadsword 25.5 inches.
