Strengths - TNB has no competition.  Effect- increased profit for TNB

Weaknesses- Increasing cost of operation within TNB.

Opportunities- Providing better service.  Effect - increase consumer satisfaction

Threats-Threat of entry is low due to the high capital needed and also  strict government policies.  

Overall effect - consumers would be paying more on tariff.  This may lead to cutting down of usage by small consumers.  Large consumers, for example plants and factories would bear significant impact in the increase in tariff.
