  1. I would think some sort of model of a tree with the whole cut out in the middle would be great. Maybe you could put something in the whole of the tree


  2. Mr. Link Deas is the fellow who is white, yet sit's with the Negroes. Therefore i guess his attitude against his own culture (white) is that he feels that Negroes are rather treated unfairly and would rather sit with them.

    Therfore he is an antagonist in the story, whom symbolises that both cultures aren't really that different from each other. He shows that it is possible for white's and black's to co-exist in a less than perfect world.
