  1. Well, there are quite a few.  I'll give you an example of each to get you started.

    An example of a symbol would be Pompey's statue.  Caesar dies at the base of the statue, which represents the impermanence of power.  Pompey ruled before Caesar and Caesar defeated him and took power for himself.  The fact that he dies there highlights this irony...

    An example of a motif would be death with honor.  Nearly all of the characters discuss their view on what characterizes an honorable death. Cassius thinks often of his own death and views suicide as a noble means to master his fate, while Caesar believes that it is cowardly to reflect upon death before it comes.  Brutus states at the end of the play that he has more glory as the loser of the battle as Antony does as the winner.

    An example of a theme would be the fickle nature of the citizens of the republic.  They appear to first love Pompey, then Caesar, then Brutus, and then, finally Antony.
