What system do you think is better. Ps3, Ps2, Gamecube, ds, Wii, Psp, and Xbox 360

It's hard to compare all those consoles.  They're from different generations, and different purposes.

Instead, let's break them into 3 groups:

1: PS2 vs. GameCube.

2: PS3 vs. 360 vs. Wii.

3: PSP vs. DS.

1: These are from the last generation of consoles.  Even so, the PS2 was the undisputed champion in terms of hardware sales, software sales, size of game library, number of features, etc. There just wasn't any question about it.  Even today, the PS2 continues to post strong sales due to its library and low price.

2: These are the consoles of this generation.  Unlike last generation, there isn't a clear winner across all categories.  While the Wii is ahead in hardware sales, the 360 is arguably ahead in terms of game library.  The PS3, meanwhile, may be in 3rd place but has a real strong advantage due to its blu-ray player capability.  It's also important to point out that the Wii's popularity is largely due to newish, so-called 'casual gamer' market.

3: The handheld market is also pretty close.  Both systems have a collection of must-have games.  The DS has appealed to more casual audiences with things like its Brain Training titles.  Meanwhile the PSP has additional functionality such as being able to play music and video files.  While the DS has the edge in sales, I don't think there's a clear winner here.

Of course, which console is "Best" is going to be the one that works for you - plays the games you want, and in the place you want.  Halo3 may be a good game, but you can't easily take your 360 onto the bus with you.  At the same time, if you play most of your games at home, why settle for the small screens of the DS or PSP?
