  1. Blood Cells are produced in bone marrow and weird as it sounds, it can be considered a member of the Immune System.


  2. Red blood cells are produced in bone marrow.  They have no nucleus.

    White blood cells are nucleated and reproduce in the blood stream by fission.  They are part of the immune system.

  3. RBCs originate from cells in the bone marrow, in the central region of bones.
