What system should I get Final Fantasy XI for?

I was thinking of trying out Final Fantasy XI (also known as Final Fantasy Online). Is it better to buy it for the PS2, or for Windows?

How much does it cost a month? Does it cost anything if I buy it for the PS2 and play it on my PS3? Is it worth checking out?

  1. Its the top PvE mmorpg, and the only mmorpg renown for its story arcs. Definitely worth giving a try.

All consoles play on the same servers, so the charge is uniform despite what you play on. In addition, since all consoles access the same servers you can play your account from any console.

PS2 version is quite a bit older, the PC version is much more attractive. In addition, you can tune up the graphics quite a bit on the PC, as well as download visual modifications to give the game some nicer-looking armors and equipment.

  2. PC Version if you can! you have much better graphics and using the keyboard is soooo much easier than trying to talk and walk with the controllers. oh and welcome to the addiction
