What takes more skill, a swish or a back of the rim

Neither is more skill. You can't predict whether or not it's going swish or hit the back of the rim. Making the shot period is what takes skill. The coolest sound though has got to be the swish. Hence, Nike using the slogan "SWOOSH" and not "CLANK."

I think a swish takes more skill since it's based on pure accuracy, but I think the back of the rim is cooler since it makes a nice sound and sometimes, it'll make both the sound of the back of the rim and the swish almost at the same time. The back of the rim is more of luck, but you can definately do it on purpose. (I think Garnett's mid-range shot is a back of the rim shot)

I would have to say a swish. Because for the back of the rim, all you have to do is hit the backboard.

i think consistency should be in the conversation cuz anyone can pick up a basketball and swish if or back of the rim it if you give them enuf shots
