  1. Live theatre, because not only do you have to memorize your lines and not get any retakes, but you have to act in a much "bigger" way than you would in film.

  2. I think it would be a theater actor, because you have to learn your lines like they are your first name, and if you are THE most important character, then you might have a bunch of lines to learn. But, then again, I have not had the privilage to be on camera, but i ahve been in quite a few theater productions, so I know what it is like to memorize lines.

  3. Live theatre.

At each performance you have one shot to perform the scenes, whereas with movies multiple takes are made to ensure everything is perfect.

Also, a lot of live theatre actors have been in movies as well and do amazingly at both.

  4. Both have different skills.

Theatre, you have to memorise all of the lines, sustain you character throughout the performance and repeat it time and time again.  Movie actors have to create their character with little or no rehearsals, make relationships believable without necessarily having met the person they are acting with before the shooting day, and shoot out of sequence while still giving their character a journey through the movie.

  5. Theatre. They have to nail the lines and are not allowed to mess up. In movies, you get differnt takes if you mess up, so you can just start over. In live theatre, if you mess up then everyone sees it, and you cant redo it.
