and we wanna get matching tattoos. We're both getting nautical stars...but I wanna little something to show its for him without putting his name on me..any ideas. Thanks

I'm not very creative with these types of things, but wouldn't it be more symbolic if you came up with it yourself? I think it would hold more meaning...

You could get something like the chinese symbol for strength to represent that strength that he has to do such an amazing thing.  You could get something  like a chinese symbol or celtic symbol for one of the things that you admire about him such as courage, nobility, honor, love,  there are many ideas it just depends what you would be most comfortable with
