Hi, i have just had a half sleeve started, it is of an angel emerging from clouds holding the sun, i finished my first siting couple of days ago. the tattoo has a lot of personal meaning to me and most of the tattoo has been finished.

my question is.. i have space on the inside of my arm from arm pit to elbow that i would like to dedicate to my family (4 of them mum, dad, and 2 sisters)

the tattoo is very Greek mythology style in black and grey, any ideas that might work? i though of 4 flowers on a vine?? or 4 stars?? does any one know any flowers or something that represents family or loved ones?

  1. Intertwined Yin-Yang. How four parts become one would need some thought, but then a decent tattoo artist will be able to sketch it for you.

  2. Well, my oldest brother got six stars - three on the back of his fore arm. Four for my mom, my grandmother, aunt, and great aunt who had passed away, and smaller stars underneath it for me and my other brother who's just a few years older.. I thought that was a cool idea. =]

  3. My first thought when you described the angel tattoo was of doves.

If it is flowers that you want check out this site... it is a nice flower that could be used in a number of different ways:

  4. family 4 life

  5. Get them to each draw a symbol or something for you.

Look at some Celtic work that is nice too and has symbolism :)
