    - do you have to be a member of some marketing association? their subscription fees are tax deductible.

    - do you have to attend any training or seminars or courses to enhance or maintain your skill and knowledge? If the amount is not to be reimbursed by your employer, and it is not for you to obtain a new better job, they are deductible to you.

    - you can claim up to $300 under D5 without substantiation.

    - donations to DGRs, those donations that you gave to Burma Appeal, etc.
