I like the Chargers this year. They finally won a playoff game last year, and now the team that beat them has weakened defensively over the offseason. My pick is the Chargers over the Cowboys in the superbowl 27 - 17. Romo chokes as usual and Cromartie gets 2 picks helping to shut down the Dallas O.

I think, barring any freak occurrences during the season, the only teams with a legitimate shot at a title are the Patriots, Colts, Cowboys, Jaguars, and Giants.  The Giants are reigning Super Bowl Champs and are coming into the 08-09 season with a tremendous amount of momentum.  The Jaguars are a very strong team in the A.F.C. and despite their lack of big-name players, have impressed me a lot with their chemistry and the way they run the football.  The Cowboys are coming back with one of the best quarterbacks in the game, Tony Romo.  I believe that Romo will lead his Cowboys to an N.F.C. title.  The Colts have consistently been one of the elite teams in football for the past few years.  Look for Manning and co. to lead the Colts to a great season.  Finally, the New England Patriots are coming off one of the greatest seasons in NFL history, going 18-1, just falling short of a Super Bowl victory.  While they probably won't go undefeated this season, they will win at least 14 games in the regular season, winning the A.F.C.  My prediction for the Super Bowl is a Cowboys/Patriots game.  Shaping up to be one of the greatest games in recent history, Tony Romo and Tom Brady will battle it out for an N.F.L. title.  The Patriots win behind Brady's arm.
