The sleeper this year has to be Texas Longhorns.Colt McCoy looks to have his breakout season.Everyone has there eye on Oklahoma or Missouri but no one has mention about Texas.They have a pretty easy schedule besides there big three games with Oklahoma,Texas A&M and Texas Tech but besides that they have a pretty soft schedule.They probably wont make the national title but could cause a major impact to it.

Here are a few:

Texas Tech - Offense is sick with Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree as the leaders. If the defense can be average, the offense can win a shoot out against anyone in the country. They had a pretty good season last year and could build on it even more.

Clemson - Picked to win the ACC, which figures to be one of the weaker 'big six' conferences this season. Faces a few questions on defense but has some great offensive tallent in Cullen Harper, Aaron Kelly, CJ Spiller and James Davis. They have the potential to be a dark horse and slide into a national title if the top teams suffer late losses.

Pittsburgh - RB Lesean McCoy is the real deal tallent and coming off of a great season. Upset of West Virginia last season shows they have the potential to win some big games, and the Big East schedule always helps.

Fresno State - Lots of people think BYU is the best mid-major out there but Fresno State cant be far behind. Has some tough games with Boise State and Wisconsin but could be a spoiler this season.
