The 49ers!  Their offense is really starting to come together as shown in the last preseason game against the Packers.  Just as I thought, Mike Martz is making a considerable difference with the offense.  I even see a possible emergence of a new star receiver in Josh Morgan.  The rookie has made tough catches in the slot and deep.  Now that I believe that the offense can move the chains, the defense will be better rested and more effective as a result.

The Carolina Panthers. They lost the starting quarterback in week 3 and played with 4 different quarterbacks the rest of the season and still went 8-8. They play in the week nfc south. Delhomme is back to full strength and they finally got a little help for Steve Smith at the WR position. Also they got rookie running back Jonathan Stewart who will be big force once he fully recovers from toe surgery.

the Bills aren't a "come out of the blue" team if they nearly made the playoffs last year. i'm going with the Raiders or Jets. do you SEE these Jets? incredible O-Line, everyone says Thomas Jones is at pro-bowl level and Favre? are you kidding me? the Raiders? eh why not they've suffered for long enough.

Buffalo Bills without a doubt, most underrated team in the NFL with a revamped young defense that is much healthier than last year and Trent Edwards and Marshawn Lynch gaining valuble exp on offense will produce a sleeper team that can sneak into the wild card.  Anyone who discounts the Bills just b/c of a long playoff drought is a fool

AFC: Cleveland Browns AFC Champs 14-5 Got snub-ed last year, but they will be contenders this season, close Second, NY Jets, and not just because of Favre, I see the Jets going 11-5.

NFC: Cardinals, Had Some Rough close games last season, but they can be playoff caliber this season, only problem this year, contending with NFC east, especially the Cowboys.

Second, Detroit, lost some close ones last season, look for them to contend w/ Minnesota for Division and Possible Home Field for WC most likely against Cardinals.
