  1. Minnesota wild!!!

got rid of Brian Rolston....that is gonna come back to bite them!

and Aaron voros, a promising rookie who had a lot of potenial!

And they might not sign Demitra again and if the don't sign him for a multi year contract , gaborik is probablly gonna leave the wild. we got pavol  for gaborik ya know!

  2. I think the rangers will be worse but I think tampa will realize they may have committed too much in some of the players they signed.  Losing boyle will hurt plus they still don't have a good goalie.

  3. I think LA gave up on hope of re-signing Camalleri too fast, therefore trading him. I think he will be missed. They basically said they wouldnt have been able to re-sign him next summer, so traded him...

Also.... trading Visnovsky will hurt them also... but the team GM says he has a 3 year plan and is sticking to it. This is year 2... we will see....

But d**n.. 2 huge losses with those trades!

  4. Not sure why everyone is saying TB (Boyle) or LA (Cammalleri)... How much worse then last season can either of those two teams do ?

Hossa was not given up... Pittsburgh offered more then Detroit, but Hossa was intent on playing for the team he expects to win the Stanley Cup...

I'd have to go with Naslund. How do you let the Rangers outbid you on him for an $8 million 2 year deal, and then offer a $20 million 2 year deal to Sundin, who is only putting up the same stats as Naslund... is Sundin better in my opinion ? Yes. $6 million a year better ? Not even close.

  5. I agree with SENSor.......Tampa will regret trading Boyle. Though, I still think Tampa will do ok (they have to add some 'D' though and stop signing 40 yr old wingers)

  6. Rangers have a lot to regret, losing their captain, possibly shanny, and avery who was boasting a great team record when he was in the linup as opposed to when he wasnt, but i think it will b tb

  7. Pens giving up hossa and Conklin(Best Goalie Ever)

  8. That has happened the worst trade ever was the luongo trade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1(florida got ripped off!!!!)

  9. I know I am being a weiner here, but I just wanted to throw some food for thought on each player.

LA/Camalerri - I think he fits well on a team where he can be on the second line or first with a star like Iginla. LA needed him to basically shoulder a heavy scoring role on the first line and carry the offense with Kopitar. He's just not that player, like Afinogenov I think he can thrive if he is not the primary scoring threat, but struggles if he is.

Wild/Rolston  - Who thought they would get Hossa in return but whiffed. That said they need another offensive force to take focus off Gaborik, and obviously Rolston does not do that. So did they really lose? I mean they are weaker without him, but its hard for me to buy that they cant get someone just as good as him, he's not an elite player by any means.

Boyle - Maybe, BUTTTT they just signed him to a fat extension so they know what they had. So they should have some clue as to what they are doing??? Wait and see I guess? Cause right now this looks questionable. That said Offense is not their problem, so losing an offensive defenseman is not a huge hit. Defense was their big problem and goaltending. They can get someone WAY cheaper with superior defensive skills to Boyle. Like I said they know what he can do and they rewarded him last year for it, so they must have something in mind. Spend the money where it counts. Remember too he has a lot of money in that contract so they could be thinking ahead to the future, heaven forbid.

  10. Easy - TB trading Dan Boyle...good guy, great player, and now they have no defense...

They will not be buying a Cup this season...
