My best friend and I were talking about this the other day.. And I think it would be interesting to know what other people have to say. By technology, I mean email, mobile phones, myspace, sites like myspace etcetc.. Just interested :)

  1. myspace sites. and Chat rooms

  2. Networking sites like facebook and myspace don't help.

And yeah I'd agree that if you let your boyfriend get addicted to World Of Warcraft the relationship is definitely pointless after that point.

  3. The computer - it has email, IM, myspace

Cell Phone - texting, calling, voicemail.

  4. Myspace can do it.

    And text messaging as well.

  5. none, what wrecks relationships is to do with one or the others lack of commitment or respect or sense of equality. Any form of technology simply highlights the relationship faults in instances when people find friends online, meet other people etc.

  6. Viva relationship wrecker

  7. I know MORE and more people breaking up/getting jealous/cheating-flirting/hooking up because of Myspace.

  8. for me it's msn. because you are writing fast, you don't take the time to explain everything properly, messages can be understood differently to how they were meant, potentially s******g up a relationship.

  9. The computer.

  10. I don't think there is at all because these technologies are made for the convenience of the human beings and it all depends upon the person if he/she will let these things wreck his or her life.

It's like money is not the root of evil but the love of money that is.

  11. i rekon emails and mob phones..

  12. In my opinion, I think television could be considered to be a "relationship wrecker" -- especially when not used properly, or too much, and when communication and dialogue between partners are already strained.

How many times have you seen or heard about one person being a vegetable in front of the TV when watching something - watching "the game" comes to mind, especially when the other person is not into sports.

Moderation is the key to a healthy relationship - use technology in your favor and don't overdo it.

    Just my 2 cents :)

  13. Facebook. When your exes get in touch. Bad times.

  14. for sure computer in gengeral

  15. Mobile phones, by a mile

  16. Game consoles

  17. The personal massager

  18. cell phones. for sure

  19. the internet... it has caused many male virgins to play WoW which will cause them to never be in a relationship and those rare few who actually had a girlfriend lost their girlfriend because of WoW

  20. Television can be used by a couple simultaneously.

In my opinion, the relationship wrecker is computer/video games.

Totally absorbing for long periods of time and solitary.

  21. It's hard to tell, because they all have great positive points, then bad points.

  22. INSTANT MESSENGERS!!!

people have msn relationships these days any not even see eachother, its so sad!!

Also SMS kind of killed real relationships because some people rather talk through sms than person to person phone calls which is a shame.

  23. myspace haha

when it comes to older people and more serious relationships, theres always snooping.

a friend of mine and her boyfriend are getting quite serious and they don't allow themselves to be friends on myspace because she says 'myspace is for FRIENDS, and i don't need my boyfriend snooping on my page and getting angry at the tiniest things'

also, another one would be videogames lol

alot of guys play videogames when their significant other would rather be 'spending time' or cuddling. to be completely honest, girls need to get over themselves and let guys have a little fun, and maybe the girls can spend time by playing v-games WITH them guys. it's fun, more girls should try it ^_^
