As it was mentioned before, when it comes to LPGA tournaments, there's not such thing as red, white, blue, and gold tees. The tournaments decide based on how they want the course to play, how they want to test the players, and what they think will provide for a good viewing experience. And the tees a lot of times change from day to day.

It is important to note that the LPGA on average sets the courses at around the "blue" tees, or the second set of tee from the back.

Depending on the layout of the course, the professional women will usually have six forward, six middle and six back tee positions. They will also have the same number of pin positions front, middle and back but with no relationship to the tee positions. What may be a shortened hole the first day may be much longer the second day. This gives a variety of shots to be played during the tournament.Same is usually true for club member guest tournaments.
