  1. Whites.

  2. Learn to hit from the whites and when you do that consistently, try a round from the blues. Some courses vary considerably in yardage when playing from the blue tees. So this may give you a better idea of what to expect a couple of years from now.

  3. the color depends on the course but the middle not the back cause thats for like pros and scratch golfers but the fronts for juniors and chicks so the middle thats wat i play

  4. white

  5. Use the white tees, always use the white if in doubt.  You can use yellow if they have them (they are generally for junior golfers).

  6. I would alternate from white and blues, it will give you more experience and different types of shots; which in turn will improve your game and lower your handicap.

  7. I read in Golf Digest that a good way to figure out your "ideal yardage" is multiply the distance you hit your 27-degree club (typically a 5 iron) by 36.  Whatever that equals, find a tee that corresponds to that.  Stina Steenberg, who wrote it, said that after trying it, she believes it's pretty accurate.

Give it a shot, and if you find you're hitting a decent amount of short irons to the hole like you're supposed to, good on ya!  If it's too easy, Hey!!! you get to move back a tee!!  It's win-win!

  8. the red tees!

  9. hit from whichever you want. as long as you are having fun and the tee box is not making is unenjoyable it shouldn't matter. I mean, if u play from the blues and can't carry into the fairway, maybe u shouldn't, but if u can and it still leaves u a decent shot into the green who cares. but being an 18 handicap i'd say the whites would be most enjoyable for u.
