  1. 78-82 tropical fish are most comfortable.

Goldfish 68-75, they like cooler water.

  2. The first 3 (betta, swordtail & guppy) are tropical fish and should be kept at 76-82 degrees F.  The goldfish is a coldwater fish and will prefer it cooler and can be kept at room temperature or 65-75 degrees F.  They can all survive a little variance either way, but will not be completely comfortable with it.  Goldfish are pond fish, so can survive even a winter freeze.  They go into a sort of metabolic shut down, stopping eating and barely moving when a pond freezes over.

  3. 1.  It's not 10 points to answer, it's 10 points for best answer.

I agree with Ghost Shrimp Fan, except that although goldfish can be kept at 65-75 F, they prefer temperatures below 65 F.  But then the tank you have is probably to small for a goldfsh anyway.  One goldfish when grown needs 20-30 gallons, depending on type of goldfish.

  4. For a betta, you can do room temperature or between 72-78

For a sword tail and a guppy, you should keep it around 74-78

For a goldfish, they are cold blooded so they adapt to their surroundings as long as it is not to quick of a change.  You need to gradually change the temperature, but any room temperature will do!!  Hope this helps!

  5. Between 22 and 26 degrees C
