High, I am testing something for a project and need to know what temperature the non-hardening clay burns at.

  1. Please clarify 'non-hardening' clay.   Do you mean plasticine OR polymer clay which requires baking?

    I teach polymer clay classes.


  2. the clay will melt,then burn .Ignition temps should be that of an oil 500 oF,or less.This is with a flame applied. Auto ignition temperatures ,with out a flame present are much higher
