What temperature should my geckos tank be?

I have a baby gecko and i'd like to know what temperature her tank should be.

  1. What type of gecko are you keeping?

    I keep my leo's ambient daytime temps in the low to mid 80s with a hot spot in the upper 80s to low 90s. In the evening I let the temperature drop into the 70s with no problems. If you have an outlet timer available, you can set your heat lamps/pads on it and set the day/night cycle to kick on and off automatically. Be sure if you're using a reptile heat pad to use a thermostat with it to make sure it doesn't overheat and burn your babies.

    P.S. - Make sure you provide your baby with a humidity hut to help with shedding. I've seen too many leo's lose toes in bad sheds. The humidity huts help a lot!

  3. my babies like 90 and leave one side at  that at all times to help them digest there crickets
