I'm trying to decide if I should get a vox amp or a roland amp for my acoustic-electric and electric. Which one has better quality sounds and wider variety?

  1. If you're after an amp that will cover a multitude of sounds and effects, you will have to compromise along the way. The electric on its own will benefit from a good class valve amp, but the electro-acoustic might be better just through a small processor into the PA system. There are specific electro-acoustic amps on the market, but I guess you don't want to buy two separates.

  2. Hi

I use a Roland amp because of its variety of sound option and becauseof its cleanness especially for jazz fusion. On the other hand, it sounds clean even with a distortion pedal.

Vox is a good hard but, it is a harder and less mellow sound wise.
