well, i have been playing tennis for 3 years and I am great. but my tennis raquet is a Sneygy Serise Prince Confort grip tennis raquet. Unfortunetly it is too heavy and its difficult to hit tho I didnt notice until i used my coach's Hybrid Raquet.

So my question is...

Would you Consider a

Hybrid 03 Prince Graphite Prestrung Confort Grip Tennis Raquet good?

And it the strings are tight will it have a harder hit or loose strings have harder hit?

And what is the best type of tennis raquet for an all around player?

  1. I'm sorry I don't have time to read up about that racquet, but there should be plenty of reviews around on the internet.

But I do know that if the strings are tightly strung you will have a harder hit but its not always as easy to control. So if you're playing an opponent with a powerful stroke the ball will just ping off your racquet in any direction. Thats why pros get their racquets restrung for different opponents according to how hard they hit the balls. For people with a big serve they'll have a looser strung racquet so they can keep the ball in play more easily. As for you, if you're looking for an all round player I'd choose one that is medium strung so you get the best of both worlds! :)

  2. That Prince probably isnt too bad, but it depends how much power you need. If you consider yourself somebody who isnt very strong or needs/likes some extra pop, you should consider at least a 100 square inch headsize racquet and most likely a 27.5 inch length. If you go with something 110 square inches or more, you should string the racquet tighter because they lack feel and touch and have great power. If you like power, but with some extra heft, you should add some lead tape to your stick but not until you dont like hitting with it. If you are very concerned about your racquet you should look at demoing a variety of different racquets. I prefer Babolat's Pure Drive Plus Cortex and AeroPro Drive Plus Cortex aswell as the Wilson N Six-Two Oversize with a little lead tape, but you may find something totally different so research a little and demo some frames. Only YOU can determine if a racquet is good for you.

  3. Prince 03. I've been using Prince ever since I started playing. I'm comfortable with it.

  4. Answering your 1st question: Well, how good a racket plays all depends on the player. Just look at the pro's, just because Roger Federer is number one, doesn't mean his racket is the best. And vice versa, just because you're a club player, doesn't mean that you shouldn't use a racket because no pros play with it.

Furthermore, the higher the tension, the more control, but you have to generate more of your own power. If the tension is lower, you lose control, but ahve more power.

  5. The only way to know for sure is to demo the ones you are interested in. for yourself. No one can tell you which raquet will be best for you.

If there were one best raquet all the pros would use the same thing.

    Loose strings more power

    Tight strings more control

  6. To be honest do not buy the hybrid 03 prince racquet. I have that racquet and it is not worth the money at all. All the paint fell off after a month of use and it dents too easily. I ended up having to buy a new racquet  after my pro saw what i was playing with. He requested that i play with this racquet. >>

^^ a brief description form the website. >Aggressive players will find this racquet perfect for taking large cuts at the ball from all areas of the court. Players will find some useful power from the heft and stiffness of the racquet, yet the level of control remains very high thanks to lots of feel and good ball bite. All in all a very impressive racquet for 4.5+ NTRP level players.

I love this racquet!! i have played so much better since this purchase. The control is amazing and the power of my shots has increased tremendiously. I hope you demo this one...you can demo it from the site that i gave you.

    Hope this helps <3
