i have a HEAD NANO TI RADICAL LITE and ive used the racquet for about 1 month and a bit and the string have broken(play tennis like every day). i dont know much about tennis string so im hoping that someone can tell me what string i should get. i dont know what string i have just used. only information i can give you is that i think it's probably medium tension. my string tension on the racquet is 26 /-2kp 57 /-5lbs( dont know if that helps or not). by the way i do use spin on most of my shots. Oh and ive just seen now it says, "use head control string".

thanks for the help

  1. Really depends on your game.  The strings you're using now sounds like Rip Control (Head), which is a good string for those with tennis elbow.  However not very beneficial for the intermediate level player.  You'll find more and more players regardless of level are opting for a hybrid string set up.  I have the 93square inch Wilson K-Factor K-Blade (same as N.Djokovic) and I use Luxilon Power Rough on the Mains (too add more power) and I use a multifilament synthetic gut on the crosses (too add a bit of softness) strung at 57 and 55 pounds respectively.

If you do use a lot of spin, I would go Pro Hurricane all round, or Pro hurricane on mains, and synthetic gut on the crosses (too take a bit of stiffness off it), strung at 57.  Luxilon Power Rough are good for spin also, but a stiff string without a gut or synthetic gut to compliment it.
