What test do you take if you should be in the next grade?

I failed 5th grade...but i'm in 7th now...and i should be in 8th....and i was told i can take a test to go to the next grade....but i don't know where to get that test....plz help me!

The test is called the Iowa Acceleration Scale Manual; A Guide for Whole-Grade Acceleration published by Great Potential Press. It's used to determine whether you've learned enough to move ahead. Ask your guidance counselor about it.
