What the Heck Silver State Helicopters????

I just heard the news about Silver State Helicopters going under. I am sure some 3,000 people are freaking out right now and I certainly am one of them. PLEASE if any one has any information about what legal action we can take -post it here! There is no chance in h**l I am going to pay some $65K for just my PVT license!!! Let's talk!

I just attended one of their recruitment seminars a couple of weeks ago, thank goodness I haven't processed my loan application yet. Godd luck getting your money back. It will probably take a class action lawsuit. I'll keep my ears open and pass on any info I come across.

I was a student and is now am not.  Washington students had a meeting last night and we are sending out an email thread of contact information to be gathered.  The best option that we are currently going for is to contact your lender and let them know what the situation is so they can start an investigation.  Next, you want to submit a consumers complaint form with the Attorney General's offices of both your state and Nevada State.  The other thing that some students are doing is contacting a lawyer in Utah (he seems to be the farthest in this case) named Dan Reed.  Give him your info if you wish and his fim will be contacting each student come Friday or Saturday.  This is an unfortunate thing and I would recommend researching other schools who teach in R-22 Betas to finish what you started.  Keep in touch and I will keep you informed is to what Washington Students are doing.
