  1. I have run Ubuntu, Kubuntu,Fedora,Red Hat,Linspire,and Mandriva. IMO Ubuntu is best with Mandriva a VERY close second.


  2. There is no simple answer to that unfortunately. It all depends on what you're trying to do. I recommend Ubuntu, but that's just because its the only one I've used, and i know it is very user-friendly

    P.S. www.distrowatch.com has a very comprehensive list of linux OS-es(also called distros)

  3. Im a complete noob to Linux.. but I use Ubuntu, and it's easy to get into for me.
