  1. A boil wash could give outstanding results....

Not that I'd necessarily advocate the idea.

  2. Freezer really is the best and then pull or scrape the gum off or you could try putting blotting paper on either side of garment and running an iron over it.

    Good luck

  3. Peanut butter.

  4. the best way i know of without ruining or potentially staining the clothes is to put the item of clothing into the freezer till its solid then it just picks off. simple and leaves no residue

    hope this helps

  5. Egg whites, brush the egg whites into the gum with a toothbrush, let it sit for 15 minutes, then wash it. Should work.

  6. This mite sound odd but if you ill up a bowl of milk then put the article of clothing over it and push the part with gum into it and let it soak then the gum will eventually fall uf after you start to move it around

  7. Try an ice cube, rub it over the gum, it usually hardens it and you can easily peel it off. Good luck!

An ice cube works and check out this site, it has a bunch of useful cleaning tips/ideas for hard to remove stains and such.

  9. well i would try rubbing an ice cube on it or use butter or peanut butter to smooth it off just like you would if it was in your hair.

  10. try a mild acidic or basic formula

these are like real tough cleaning supplies

or you could try other methods

like using vinigar or lemon juice

maybe even turpintine if you got some

  11. Put your clothing in the freezer, and wait until the gum hardens, then chip it off

  12. Come over to my house and take all your clothes off. Then, climb into my bed so I can show you a good time. I guarantee you will forget about the gum.

  13. Two suggestions here.  As stated, rubbing ice is an AMAZING fix.  It freezes the gum, which makes it not stretchy, so you can easily pull it off, HARD.

If there is discoloring from the color of the gum left, the WORLD'S BEST stuff for this is Carbona Stain Devils.  You get them at grocery stores, and while they're expensive ($5 or so for one tiny bottle), the bottles are all specific for certain types of stains.  There is one which is designed to remove gum.  Buy it, and you won't be disappointed!  :-)

They are a bunch of little yellow bottles, and the display is usually a bit above all the jugs and boxes of detergents.  Incidentally, if you can find it--not everywhere offers it for sale--Carbona Stain Wizard is also wonderful, and is designed to work on EVERYTHING.  Here is their site:  http://www.carbona.com/index.asp?PageAct...

Don't lose heart.  Either this or ice will work, no problems.

  14. Put it in water and take a knife and scrape it of.

  15. Use an ice cube and duct tape.

  17. There are many ways to remove gum from clothes.

    1.  Put your clothes in a deep freezer and then remove it a couple of hours later and it should come right off.

    2. Put an ice cube over the *** and hold it there for a few minutes then once it gets hard try picking it off.

    3. Spray on some shout stain remover and let it sit for a while then try pealin it off and it should've loosen up a lot.

The best proven way that I know many other people tried and worked was putting your clothes in the freezer for a couple hours or perhaps overnight and then peel off the gum when it's hard. After you peel it off there's still a stain on your clothes from the gum so what you have to do then is whisk 1 egg white and leave it over the stain for 10 minutes, then pop your clothes into your washing machine on a 40ºc normal wash and tada it should be clean with no gum or stain. Have fun.

  18. rubbing an ice-cube won't get it completly off.

once you'v got your clothes out of the freezer scrape it off with a knife or something.

    it should come off then

  19. I have tried all the home remedies before & nothing ever helps, it only makes it worse.  My best advice for you is to take it to your local dry cleaners they will only charge you about $3 - $5 dollars and they will leave it as if nothing ever happened to it.

  20. Hold an ice cube on the gum. It will harden up....scrape it off with a knife.

  21. Try to rub with petrol, diesel.

    The gum might dissolve

  22. Try this--get some reg white vinegar and spray on spot the vinegar  will loosen up but have to let sit for 5 minutes

  23. Rub an ice cube over the gum and work it off slowly with your fingernails or some kind of tool.

  24. There's a product on the market called "Goo Gone."

    www.googone.com

  25. I think toothpaste is the key to getting out of your hair. So try that. The toothpaste should come right out in a wash.

  26. Put more gum over top of it and that will stick to the current gum and pull it off. Double Bubble works the best.

  27. put an ice cube directly onto the gum until it is frozen, then scrape off with a knife, wash in cold water the first time to make sure it has all come off, then wash again normally.

  28. Like removes like.  Get it off with more gum, anything that remains make sure to freeze it well so it hardens.
